This Privacy Policy is designed to explain how I collect, use, share and protect the personal information you provide me with when you access my website, engage with me on social media, book and attend a session with me; as well as your own rights to the information I collect.

My policy is to keep the personal information I receive from you completely confidential and used solely for internal purposes. I will not share your personal information with any other parties.

Why your personal data will be processed?

Sharing your personal data with me, The Sonic Wealth Coach (referred below as “I” or “me”) acting as data controller, enables me to send you information about your enquiries and session details, and if you subscribe to my mailing list, enables me to send you information in this regard.

I will, with your permission, also take notes during our consultation together (referred below as ‘Consultation Data’). This will include your name and brief details of the person, date of session, and any other relevant observations, such as any contraindications to sound healing you may have. I will use your personal details in order to directly market events and offers that I think might be of interest to you only if I have your prior agreement to do so (you may unsubscribe at any time).

What is personal data?

Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) (the “GDPR”) as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier’.

Personal data is, in simpler terms, any information about you that enables you to be identified. Personal data covers obvious information such as your name and contact details, but it also covers less obvious information such as identification numbers, electronic location data, and other online identifiers.

What personal data do I collect from you?

I will collect personal data such as your first name, last name, date of birth, age, phone number, email address, home address, emergency contact information as well as any health and medical history, including contraindications or health issues that I need to know for the sound and/or energy healing session.

How do I collect and use your personal data?

Under the GDPR, I must always have a lawful basis for using personal data. I will use the name and email address you provide me with on my website contact form in order to reply to your enquiry. If you proceed to booking a treatment I will store your data to be able to remain in touch with you. If you do not proceed to a booking I will securely delete your data.

I will use the personal data you provide me with on the client intake and consent form to facilitate your sound and/or energy healing session. The data provided will allow me to get to know you better and to ensure that I am made aware of any health issues or contraindications that you may have in order to tailor your session and overall experience. The information that you provide and share will be kept confidential and used solely for internal purposes.

If you send me any sensitive medical/health information by text, email or during a consultation, I will only hold and use this information if we proceed to treatment, at which time I will require explicit consent from you to hold this data, which I will take from you by asking you to confirm that you have read and acknowledge my Privacy Notice in accordance with GDPR guidelines. If we do not proceed to treatment, I will securely delete this information.

How long do I keep your personal data?

For the Consultation Data, your personal data will be kept safely on a password protected database, for a period of at least 7 years following the last occasion on which treatment was given, after which time it will be deleted from my database. For the data related to the mailing list, data will be kept for 7 years after which it will either be anonymised or deleted.

Who do I share your personal data with?

I will not share your personal information with any third parties. Where my website contains links to other websites. I am not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third party websites.

Compliance with laws

I may process your personal data in order to comply with applicable laws (for example, if I am required to co-operate with an investigation pursuant to a court order). Where legally permitted I will inform you ahead of such transfer. I may also disclose personal information if I determine in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect my rights and pursue available remedies, investigate fraud, or protect my operations or other clients. Transfers out of the UK and EEA The above-mentioned sharing may imply transfer of your personal data out of the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA). I pay particular attention to the processing of your personal data, for this very reason, where such transfer out of the UK or EEA takes place, I implement measures to ensure that transferred personal data benefit from an adequate level of protection. What are your rights?

In relation to the above-mentioned processes, you have the right to request access to your data in a structured and standard format, for your data to be modified or for your data to be deleted. You are also entitled to object to the processing of your personal data or to request restriction thereof. If you would like to access the consultation form and any notes made during our session together, I can email you an electronic copy within one month of your request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

Children Age 13 and Under:

I recognise the special obligation to protect personally identifiable information obtained from children age 13 and under. As such, if you are 13 years old or younger, I request that you not submit any personal information to the site. If I discover that a child age 13 or younger has signed up on the Site or provided me with personally identifiable information, I will delete that child’s identifiable information from my records. Nonetheless, I encourage parents to go online with their children.
Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:
1. Teach children never to give personal information, unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult.
2. This includes name, address, phone, school, etc.
3. Know the sites your children are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
